Training Support Specialist

CSA is currently seeking an experienced Training Support Specialist to support the Commander Navy Installations Command (CNIC) Shore Operations Training Delivery Branch, N36T. The successful candidate will facilitate virtual training, Mobile Training Teams (MTTs) and formal course delivery to CNIC Region and Installation and Region Category 5 First Responders including leadership and emergency operations watch team personnel. The candidate will play a crucial role in CNIC N36T, the Shore Operations Training Group (SOTG), delivering efficient and effective operations-focused training to 10 regions and 70 installations worldwide.
This role will be 100% remote.
How Role will make an impact:
- Serve as member of the CNIC N36T SOTG, a deployable mobile training team
- Provide support for curricula management, exercise coordination, execution, and other administrative support efforts related to Mobile Training Team (MTT) and Virtual Training Team (VTT) training efforts.
- Responsible for curriculum management including efforts to keep all course material
- Standardized and aligned with current and emerging requirements germane to SOTG-delivered formal courses.
- Deliver up to 50 additional VTT courses. N36 will add additional Area Command staff training to existing courses and potentially additional EOC IMT and/or ROC CAT Courses, as well as deliveries of the Incident Command System 300/400 TtT Course; and increase support and delivery of all other areas throughout.
- Develop and provide decision level briefings to Senior Leadership (Military or Civilian).
- Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for the development of STT training-related documentation, including training plans and curriculum revision and management.
- Plan, facilitate, observe, and recommend criteria for evaluation to CNIC Region and Installation Integrated Training Exercises and Drills leads.
- Serve as SME in emergency management (EM), security force management, integrated training, and Command, Control, & Communication (C3) training, and other emerging training requirements to support and advise Government personnel making final decisions.
- Attend SOTG-related meetings and conferences.
- Identify inconsistencies, problem areas, and voids between doctrine and training and proposed fixes; including recommendation for immediate implementation of training based on Lessons Learned (real world and exercise).
- Provide effective scheduling, coordination, and strategic communications in support of SOTG.
- Manage the SOTG (N36T) pages including the Quarterly Operational Training and Exercise Summary (QOTES) data tracking and updating monthly G2 website and associated team pages.
- Coordinate and participate in regularly scheduled teleconferences.
- Support MTT/VTT scheduling
- Print, package, and deliver training materials in support of courses, as necessary. Recommend and assist in implementation of actions necessary to ensure effective integration of training resources, requirements, and concepts/standards. Keep abreast of requests, resources, and new and innovative developments in integrated training.
- Review current doctrine and defined mission essential tasks to recommend training requirements; help analyze and define Regional Training Team (RTT), Installation Training Team (ITT), and Installation Training Officer (ITO) requirements.
- Review current CNIC training and provide recommendations for training solutions to meet validated training requirements.
- Review and define training policies and concepts to ensure responsiveness to changes in naval guidance, strategy and tactics.
- Identify training requirements and recommend training solutions in support of CNIC shore enterprise.
- Support and facilitate conferences and working groups as needed.
- Conduct analysis on assigned topics, writing and delivering briefs, point papers, position papers, Assist Gov’t personnel in development of products in support of OPNAV ETMS2 tasker usage, and briefing.
- Provide SME support for the development of EM training-related documentation, including training plans and curriculum revision and management.
- Serve as SME for emergency management, C3, integrated training, and defense support to civil authorities (DSCA) training.
- Recommend and assist in implementation of actions necessary to ensure effective integration of training resources, requirements, and concepts/standards. Keep abreast of requests, resources, and new and innovative developments in integrated training.
- Be prepared to deploy in operational support of a real-world Navy disaster response as an EOC IMT or Regional staff consultant.
- Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate, and Deliver new training requirements for CNIC N3 Programs as required to meet Operational Missions of Navy Installations.
- Assist in the administrative requirements associated with formal course deliveries, including tracking of course graduates, discerning force course seat quotas, and the updating of training databases.
- Provide support with administrative duties and including flag-staff-level writing ability as well as proficiency in all major Microsoft software (Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel) in support of N36T competencies.
- Provide product delivery. This includes (but is not limited to) the Emergency Management for Senior Leaders Course (EMSLC) course, Regional Operation Center Crisis Action Team (ROC CAT) Course, Emergency Operation Center Course (EOC-IMT) Course, CNIC IMT/CAT Member Course, Emergency Manager Course (EM), Installation Training Officer (ITO) Course, Navy Emergency Preparedness Liaison Officer (NEPLO PRO) Course, Navy Installation Command Duty Officer (CDO) Course, Homeland Security Exercise Evaluation Program (HSEEP) Course, Incident Command System 191/449/300/400 Train the Trainer (TtT), and limited tailored training as necessary. The Government will retain ALL rights to any materials developed under this contract.
- Serve as members of the CNIC N36T SOTG, as virtual training team and deployable mobile training team (MTT) members.
- Provide classroom instruction via Mobile Training Team (MTT) and Virtual Training Team (VTT) via Microsoft Teams (or other program authorized by the government during the full performance period).
Logistics Planner/Operational Contract Support (OCS) Analyst

- The primary duties of this position are to integrate commercial capabilities into joint operations and campaign planning, processes, systems, and data; review and assess operational plans and orders to ensure adequate planning for contracted support; and to support other joint force development activities advancing the operational relevance and reality of contracted support to military operations.? To be effective, the candidate should have recent and strong operational or logistics planning experience that lends itself to the following tasks:

JOPEC instructors travel to sites worldwide for the two-week mobile courses, requiring each instructor to travel roughly 6-8 total weeks per year.
