SharePoint Developer

CSA is currently seeking a SharePoint Developer to assist our Navy client. This is a hybrid position.
How Role will make an impact:
- Performs SharePoint Site Administrator and SharePoint Site Collection administrator duties and responsibilities.
- Assists in creating web pages that support embedded analytical products and data visualization within SharePoint.
- Performs new development and maintenance of power platform solutions, which include Power Applications, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Provides a monthly report of activities to support contract deliverables.
- Demonstrates necessary communication skills for the capability to train others, and to communicate SharePoint-specific functionality and constraints to the government.
- Develops and maintains documentation outlining the procedures for executing the various programs and the setting of associated parameters to ensure reports and processing run properly.
- Assists in the development of on-line tutorials and help screens.
- Provides data analysis, documentation, job scheduling, and job monitoring support for data exchange processes between the DBS and other interfacing partners and systems.
- Assists in troubleshooting software performance issues.
- Designs and distributes query and report formats to provide content, status and exception data to users.
- Supports gathering of functional requirements via user groups, technical meetings, site visits and survey construction/distribution/analysis.
- Provides support for survey/assessment services for the environment supporting the LAS.
- Updates graphical representations of the survey/assessment infrastructure using Microsoft (MS) Visio graphics software and/or other software solutions.
- Provides technical support to end-user community on survey/assessment environment problems, questions, and use.
- Performs evaluations and analysis of data to determine feasible solutions, and implements solution(s).
- Defines and resolves problems including developing processes and procedures for resolving like problems throughout the enterprise and analyzes methods of approach.
- Provides detailed documentation and feedback for problem resolution.
- Researches, monitors, and compiles statistical information and metrics on any and/or all LAS components.
- Reviews, analyzes, routes, and resolves all help requests.
- Examines existing information system schematics and related supporting software documentation.
- Identifies alternative software solutions.
- Participates in reviews to determine the completeness and consistency of software requirements.
- Analyzes and develops documentation supporting MPTE TSS program and projects aligned with each functional area as needed.
- Analyzes and evaluates Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) products to assess the feasibility and usability of the product to best support operations that are related to the project.
- Develops and documents a gap analysis, details the functional capabilities satisfied by the COTS, and identifies strengths and weaknesses.
- Collects data on software engineering performance during the appropriate phases of development.
- Utilizes current SQL-based products and tools for extraction and reporting of information to support business requirements analysis and development. Products may include TOAD, PL/SQL Developer, Oracle Business Intelligence, or SAP Business Objects reports engine.
- Conducts Legacy and NMCI system evaluations of production installations to assure HW/SW compatibility and maximum effective performance.
- Controls work resulting from functional user requests and/or technical support requests necessary to maintain parallel operational processing during the development of modules.
- Performs analysis of requirements and programs using HTML, Flash, ASP.NET, SharePoint or other tools directly related to development of products for the Internet.
- Develops and maintains documentation outlining the procedures for executing the various programs and setting associated parameters to ensure reports and processing run properly.
- Documents all software and run-streams development, modifications, and maintenance tasks.
- Prepares, presents, and/or modifies system documentation for both the system user and the Automated Document Processing (ADP) developer.
What you’ll need to have to join our award-winning team:
- Clearance: Must have the ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Math, Business, Engineering or Physical Science.
- Ten (10) years of software, systems/network architecture, project management, and cloud infrastructure related experience.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Working knowledge of Department of Navy IT systems and NMCI.
- Working knowledge of BUPERS/NPC IT systems.
- Must obtain 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g. Security+ CE).
- Microsoft SharePoint certification within (6) six months of hire.
