NMCI/NGEN Special Projects Lead
Client Solution Architects (CSA) is seeking an Information Specialist II / Special Projects Lead to work at the Commander Navy Installation Command (CNIC) Office onsite at Naval Support Activity Mid-South, Millington, TN. In this position, you will provide project management and/or analysis of CNIC Navy & Marine Corps Internet (NMCI) / Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN) Special Projects which may be mandated by CNIC leadership and/or a Navy Region’s unique requirement. You will also, provide professional support services to assist in developing and/or analyzing policies, programmatic, tools, operations, and the culture of the Navy’s NMCI/NGEN and outside the continental U.S. (OCONUS) Navy Enterprise Network ONE-Net program as directed by the Program Manager Navy Enterprise Network (PM NEN) office.

How Role will make an impact:
- Assist the Navy Regions obtain and/or remove NMCI seats necessary for specific sites within a specific timeline.
- Work closely with PM NEN to obtain funding and the resolution of problems to help the regions obtain success for the required deployment(s) of NMCI/NGEN seats and/or services.
- Develop and/or suggest alternate solutions to problems that are outside the normal NMCI, NMCI Enterprise Tool (NET), eMarketplace, ordering processes.
- Ensures CNIC regions have access to the training to learn the rules and regulations required to review and approve NMCI invoices.
- Ensures CNIC invoices for all regions/installations maintain at least a 98% on time review approval rate.
- Helps expedite the processing of NMCI Mods and Order approvals by the Administrative Contracting Officers (ACOs) when CNIC orders are delayed.
- Maintains close connections with the PM NEN Contracting Office and ACOs. This helps to expedite emergent orders without having to reprocess the mod or order requirements.
- Identify if CNIC NGEN/NMCI funding is processed and approved through the correct government approval programs and channels.
- Helps ensure CNIC has one of the best processing on time completion percentage in the Navy for approving and awarding NMCI/NGEN task orders.
- Manages CNIC’s Dormant/DE-obligation Accounts Program. Responsible for ensuring the cancellation of accounts that have not been accessed within the last 3 months.
- Coordinates the recovery of CNIC’s DE-obligated funding with FMB, PM NEN, and OPNAV N2N6.
- Coordinates CNIC’s Technical refresh program with the PM NEN. Ensures the early refresh of computers for sites as required.
What you’ll need to have to join our award-winning team:
- Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active Secret Clearance.
- Minimum Education: A college degree or four years equivalent work experience with demonstrated knowledge of IT principles, concepts, and methodology, e.g., data storage, software applications, knowledge management, portal management, etc. Also, experienced in relevant areas of IT program development, project management, IT systems management, and application management.
- 2 years of experience with records management or document control to include management of both manual and automated information systems as well as a variety of software packages for database management and project management.
- Significant experience with the NMCI/NGEN contract, NMCI Enterprise Tool (NET), and eMarketplace.

- Bachelor’s degree in information technology
- Three years’ experience ordering, tracking, validating CNIC NMCI seats and services.
- Two years’ experience with PM NEN.
- Navy Flank Speed experience.
- Experience with creating data analytics via MS Excel.

The annual base salary range for this position is $110,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. CSA considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
