CSA Awarded Contract To Provide Logistics and Supply Chain Consulting Services to the U.S. Navy

August 18, 2010 – Harrisburg, PA — CSA has been awarded a contract with the United States Navy’s, Navy Inventory Control Point (NAVICP) to provide Supply Chain Management (SCM) consulting services. Under this contract, CSA will develop course material and conduct a training workshop for new employees in NAVICP’s International Logistics Directorate.

CSA services and training products will introduce and familiarize international logistics personnel with the policies and procedures governing security assistance management within the Navy, and within the Department of Defense. CSA will teach newly hired international logistics practitioners how to apply those policies to actual security assistance and foreign military sales efforts within NAVICP.

“NAVICP is experiencing a generational change in their workforce,” said Mike Beliveau, senior consultant directing Pennsylvania operations for CSA. “In order to maintain a high level of service during this workforce transformation, CSA is developing an interactive workshop designed to rapidly augment the skills of newly hired international logistics managers.”
