CSA Awarded Contract with
Naval Inventory Control Point

August 11, 2009 – Mechanicsburg, PA — The United States Navy, Naval Supply Systems Command – Naval Inventory Control Point (NAVICP) exercised an option period to the CSA contract for providing analytic services on Navy procurement data. Since August 2007, CSA has developed several business intelligence applications for NAVICP automating the accumulation of contracting and procurement related data. This relevant data is then disseminated through easily navigated interfaces, which are accessed through the Navy’s shared computer network.

Prior to the products produced by CSA, the Navy had to fund a staff to manually organize and pull needed information, which was both expensive and inefficient, causing large waiting periods for staff and management. In addition to creating these tools the team also supports Code 02 on a daily basis through data retrieval, manipulation, and ad-hoc report generation. The tools and reports managed by CSA prove to be accurate and effective saving the Navy much needed time and money.

"It has been a great opportunity to collectively use our skill-sets in order to support Code 02 in its mission of providing fleet readiness to the United States Navy." said Scott Rudy, CSA task leader at the client site in Philadelphia PA.

Our team of leaders and great analysts provide us with another great example of CSA providing outstanding service, keeping our clients trust and confidence and providing our clients with improved operational performance. With CSA services, the client is able to apply their time preparing, executing and awarding contracts as opposed to time spend manually searching and analyzing data.
