CSA’s Joe Giguere Achieves Project Management Institute Certification for Project Management Professional
September 15, 2010 – San Diego, CA — Client Solution Architects LLC announced today that Joe Giguere has successfully achieved the Project Management Institutes Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Mr. Giguere is a member of the PMI San Diego Chapter and will be recognized for his accomplishment on September 22nd at their monthly dinner.
Mr. Giguere works in the Aerospace and Defense industry providing professional services relating to weapon system acquisition and project management. On the advice of his client, Mr. Giguere became interested in the PMP certification to help enhance his skills and capabilities in providing project management services. He enrolled in the PMP class through the PMI San Diego Chapter and was able to gain insight and perspective from a number of different instructors. As he completed the course work, Mr. Giguere began to see immediate opportunities to apply his knowledge to his client’s challenges and concerns.
“As I studied the Program Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and related materials, it augmented my existing project management knowledge and also gave me a great framework to organize what I understood and had experience with in project management. I began to immediately see opportunities to apply PMBOK to the various services I provide clients today. Given the Defense Department (DOD) focus on acquisition reform, my PMP training will help me provide my clients with insight and capabilities they need to respond to changes in DOD acquisition” said Joe Giguere of CSA.
