CSA Awarded a Contract to Expand Technical Management Services to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) Program
October 19, 2011 – Mechanicsburg, PA — Client Solution Architects, LLC, (CSA) was recently awarded a $6.4 million contract to provide technical management support to the DLA EBS program for FY12. This contract is an expansion of last year’s successful effort and is directly attributable to all the hard work and quantifiable results CSA provided to DLA during the previous contract.
DLA's Program Executive Office currently employs EBS across much of its supply mission area. DLA introduced its first complete Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution through the Business Systems Modernization (BSM) Program, which was fully operational in 2007. BSM and other complementary systems now encompass the Enterprise Business System. EBS mission is to modernize and refine the agency's supply chain management capability. EBS uses commercial off-the-shelf products to provide an ERP solution approach to manage its supply chains and facilitate for more than 22,000 users operating in 28 countries worldwide.
EBS identifies areas for key process improvement, improves analysis, and offers greater agility in monitoring and tracking operational and fiscal performance. EBS provides agency leadership the tools to respond to new challenges and trends. The overall modernization objectives for EBS include improving customer support and providing better access to DLA's portfolio of business systems and processes.
CSA as a direct contractor to DLA and working alongside Accenture, the lead contractor, will provide DLA with technical support in the areas of Active Directory Restructuring, AMPS (Account Management and Provisioning System)/Auto-Provisioning, Business Intelligence, Sharepoint upgrade, MS Exchange Project Management and Migration, IT Asset Management, Data Management, and SAP Portal Development.
