CSA Verified By The Department of Veterans Affairs As A Certified Veteran Enterprise




January 7, 2011 – Mechanicsburg, PA — Client Solution Architects LLC (CSA) announced today that it has completed the US Department of Veteran Affairs, Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) verification process. CSA has been added to the verified Veteran business database at VetBiz.gov and has the opportunity to compete for VA contracts under the Veterans First Contracting Program. The Veterans First Contracting Program places contracting preferences with SDVOSBs and Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) in satisfying VA’s acquisition requirements. This program also allows sole source contracts over the Simplified Acquisition Threshold up to $5,000,000 and implements restricted competition via Set-Aside Procedures for each category of SDVOSBs and VOSBs. Finally, the program allows additional credit evaluation factors for SDVOSB or VOSB status and authorizes large VA prime contractors to obtain subcontracting credit for using SDVOSBs and VOSBs in their prime contracts only when they subcontract with verified firms in Vendor Information Pages (VIP).

CSA utilized the services and expertise of its Contracts Management (CM) service line to ensure all requirements for verification were successfully met. The CM team prepared the application and worked with the CSA management team to prep for the on-site audit. “We reviewed the VA CVE documentation requirements and then following the guidance for the audit, collected the required information to be reviewed. This information included financial statements and Federal Government contracting documents. We found the VA CVE Team to be responsive and easy to work with” said Joel Judy, CSA Contracts Management Services Consultant.
